Every job starts with a free diagnosis at our Midtown Manhattan shop at 550 8th Ave, Room 3, or at your location if you book onsite service. We find the cause, explain it in plain language, and give you a price before any work begins. If you decide not to go ahead, you take your MacBook home and pay nothing for the diagnosis.
The MacBook Repair Process After You Say Yes
Once you approve the price, we repair the device and test it before you collect it. Whether it is a water damage, screen or battery repair, the steps stay the same. Data recovery is assessed and quoted separately, so you can decide before any extra work starts. If you cannot visit us, we offer Manhattan pickup and drop-off, and mail-in repairs can be arranged after you contact us.
How to Prepare for the MacBook Repair Process
If your MacBook still turns on, back up your files before you bring it in. Apple explains the options on its support site. If it was exposed to liquid, shut it down right away and do not charge it.
